Did you know that ...

The Sambucina orchid owes its name to the smell of its flowers, it blooms between May and June in medium and high altitudes (up to 2600 m).

It is a protected species in the National Park ofAppennino Tosco-Emiliano!

Be careful not to confuse it with Orobanche which, differently, is a plant without photosynthesis.
