The Apennine Primrose
Did you know that ...
Among the beauties that our territory boasts we find the very rare Apennine Primrose!
It grows between 1500m and 2000m in the cracks of the more north-exposed sandstones and flowers between May and July.
Its corolla presents shades between pink and lilac and it is unmistakable because it is the only primrose in the Apennines that has this color.
It is a protected species of the ParkAppennino Tosco-Emiliano and for this reason its collection is prohibited.
