A journey into the incredible kingdom of nails, together with Mycologist and GAE Guide Benedetta Pasquali, to learn to recognize the numerous species that grow in the beech forests of the Alta Val Cedra. A journey of research and observation, where you can learn how to identify the main mushroom genera, training your senses to determine the edible species and easily distinguish them from the toxic ones that cause numerous poisonings every year.
Total elevation changes: Approximately 250 meters
Degree of difficulty: medium-easy
Required and mandatory equipment: Layered clothing, hiking boots with sculpted soles, a water bottle holding at least 1 liter, a rain jacket, a wastebasket, and a daily waste collection pass for the Unione Montana Parma Est area (available for purchase on site or on geoticket.it).

After lunch Elena Siffredi of theazienda agricola La Giustrela will illustrate the possible preparations and gastronomic uses of the collected mushrooms.
