An excursion in a different context to discover the past of our Apennines.
Water, in Val Cedra there are many lakes, streams, restaurants, and torrents; for the inhabitants of Val Cedra, water has been synonymous with the economy since the early 900s.
Maestà, votive niches important for the people of the Apennines, but also for the travellers who were to arrive…

These are the topics we'll cover during this trek. Then, still connected to our waters, there will be a trout-themed lunch.

Program: 9.00 am meeting at La Bastia, Municipality of Monchio delle Corti PR.
path: From Bastia we will go to the pastures of Rimagna, a picturesque spot with views of the Alpe di Succiso and the Parma Apennines. The route will take you to Cima la Nuda and Lag di Cavrí.
Once back at the cars we will go down to Rimagna, we will take a tour of the village and then go to lunch around 13.30pm both at tavern Vita Sana al Bar Rimagna.

The guide along the way will tell the story of the maestà local and the importance that water had in Val Cedra.
