Our restaurant, housed in an old barn, is located within the village of Valditacca, one of the hamlets in the municipality of Monchio delle Corti.
The opening of the restaurant began as a service to our B&B, and only later did we decide to open our ancient doors to patrons passing through the village as well.
Reservations are particularly welcome at our Inn, especially during the off-season.
THE KITCHEN
We offer typical Modenese cuisine: tortellini in broth and crescentine in primis, Modena being the city that gave birth to Luca the owner, but we do not give up local dishes such as Tortelloni di patate and Arrosti ripieni.
Our dining room has about 25 seats divided into only 6 antique tables, which is why reservations are always required.
We offer a set menu formula, from appetizer to dessert including house beverages in addition to coffee and coffee killers left for our welcome guests at the end of the meal.
“SOSTE SONZ’OSTE AL BAR CHE NON C’È” KIOSK
The Kiosk is located on Provincial Road 87, which is also part of the 100 LAKES BIKE route; it is equipped with two charging points for electric bicycles, offers an unmanned self-service bar that provides total self-management customer service. We give confidence to all passersby who wish to stop and consume at the kiosk by providing a price list and offer box.
Refrigerator and pantry are always stocked with all kinds of food and beverages so that passing wayfarers can take advantage of the facility to be able to rest and prepare in total autonomy from a plate of dry pasta to a simple coffee.
