AZIENDA AGRICOLA IL BAFARDEL

We are a family who chose to move to the mountains, where our grandparents' lands and origins lie.

It's right in the heart of the Parco dei Cento Laghi which was bornazienda agricola Il Bafardel, with the desire to tell the story of the territory through our products: Apennine flower honey, jams made from cultivated and wild berries, and saffron.

All production is strictly zero km and completely natural.

PRODUCTS

Mountain honey

It is produced in different locations exclusively in the Apennine area between Monta Caio and the Parco dei Cento Laghi from 600 to 1200m above sea level.
The hives are moved to follow the flowering of the area, obtaining, with an organic method, monofloral honeys (Acacia, Dandelion, Chestnut) and different types of Millefiori.

Extra small fruit jams

The raw materials used are grown, using completely natural methods, in Val Cedra or collected in the wild.
The fruit is transformed into extra jams, adopting a method that involves brief cooking in order to preserve the freshness and flavor of the fruit.
The finished products never contain thickeners or colorants, only fruit and a little sugar., with the aim of conveying the sensation of fresh mountain fruits.

Saffron

Grown on the slopes of Mount Caio, the resulting spice is certified to be of the highest quality.
From the beautiful purple crocuses, patiently and rigorously picked and touched by hand, we obtain the purest stigmas that are dried on the same day as they are harvested.
The choice to offer saffron in stigmas and not in powder form is to demonstrate the purity of the spice.
