Located just one minute from the centre of Monchio delle Corti, on the provincial road that leads to Rigoso, is the Ostaria Dl'Andrea.
Founded in 1943 by Tinin and his wife Andrea, it has always been an important meeting point for the town's residents.
In 1988 Paola and Gian (grandson of the founders) took over the reins of the restaurant which they have expertly enhanced with some features that make it unique in its kind: Paola, with her culinary skills, has made the osteria's cuisine one of its strengths, while Gian, with his artisanal ice cream (unique in the entire municipality), has made his establishment unparalleled. A few years ago, his daughter Giulia joined the management, and thanks to her entrepreneurial skills, she has brought added value to the osteria by investing in the wine cellar., as well as on her personal training as an expert in the field. They boast an extensive wine list, not typically found in a tavern, but rather in a wine shop. Another strong point of the place is the summer garden, ideal for a Sunday lunch in contact with nature and perfect for hosting events such as baptisms or weddings.
THE KITCHEN
We provide typical Parmesan cuisine trying to never miss a pinch of innovation.
We boast a decent selection on the menu, from appetizers to desserts.
In harmony with ours Emilian culinary tradition, we pay particular attention to the choice of our cured meats, characterised mostly by products at km 0 such as the raw ham of Ponte Romano, an excellent product from the ham factory of the same name located in Ponte Romano in Corniglio.
We also pay close attention to sourcing other local products, such as the superb organic Parmigiano Reggiano, made exclusively from brown trout, from the local "La Gesa" farm in Trevignano, and the fillet of rainbow trout from the "Al Fusinaro" farm, located just a few meters from our restaurant.
Another strong point of our restaurant: homemade pasta from the expert hands by Paola, for preparing tortelli, cappelletti and much more.
